"Acrotomophile Mutilator" is the third full-length album of Peruvian death metal band Infection.

Beheaded Children Contest

Beheaded Children Contest, the fourth record by Infection, is an EP that contains five original tracks and one cover song of grindcore pioneers Napalm Death. The music continues in the same direction as its predecessor, Acrotomophile Mutilator: vicious death metal spiced up with touches of thrash and grind. It showcases an improvement in the sound department, thanks to the work of Fredrik Nordström, who re-amped guitars at the legendary Fredman Studios facilities in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mixing was handled by Antonio Palacios at // Kill the Pixel Now Studio. Once again, the band enlisted John Scrip from Massive Mastering to infuse a warm and full-bodied finish to the tracks. The icing on the cake is the sick artwork by Dechristianize Art, inspired by the cruel and perverted acts of Fifteenth-Century serial killer Gilles de Rais. The song that gives the title to this album was also based on his gruesome killing spree.
